Calling All Ye Bards!

Wow! We're in March already. April is next. April is National Poetry Month. So let's take a look at some of the poetry contests. There are plenty of poetry contests on the internet but the below two are free:

South Regional Library Poetry Club Contest. Submissions are open until April 6th. Email your poems to Sadiq Alkoriji at salkoriji@broward.org or drop them off at the AV/POP or Reference Desk. Contact Library for guidelines and prize information. 954-201-8870

Southwest Florida Poetry Contest. Submit one original poem no longer than 32 lines to tropicalia@news-press.com. Deadline is March 21.

If you see anymore free poetry contests, please share with me.
